Daniel J. Cormier has been playing music for over 35 years. Well known for his recordings in Cajun
Music. A member of the Lake Charles Chapter of the CAJUN MUSIC HALL of FAME. Daniel is also a member of the award winning
Cajun Band: "Jackie Caillier and The Cajun Cousins".
Daniel J. Cormier's Bio:
* Born June 22nd, 1954
*Began playing guitar at age of
7
*Switched to bass guitar at age of 9
*Began playing semi-professionally at age of 11 (1965)
*Began playing music
with his Dad &
Grandfather in the band:
"The Sundown Playboys"
*Moved to the steel
guitar at the age of 21 with
"The Sundown Playboys"
*Joined the award winning band:
"Jackie
Callier and The Cajun Cousins" in
1998
*Daniel is currently still with this band and very
happy with
this group.
